This was created at the start of the first lockdown. It is a portrait of my partner and a portrait that I had been wanting to create for a very long time, but always found it difficult to find enough time for the both of us so that I may paint it from life. It means a lot to me, because it reminds me that all I really need is my partner to get through the most difficult of times.

Elizabeth Munzon received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) emphasized in Figurative Painting and Drawing with a minor in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach in 2017. The same year, Munzon co-founded Flatline, an artist run gallery that also serves as Munzon's working art studio located in North Long Beach CA. Munzon creates figurative oil paintings inspired by her Mexican roots and culture.
